Research Interests
  • Phase behavior and polymorphism of lipids
  • Biomembrane structure and function
  • Protein chemistry and structure
  • Protein-ligand interactions
In the pursuit of the above areas of research, a variety of techniques are used including protein purification and characterization methods, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), spin-label ESR spectroscopy, 31P-NMR spectroscopy, isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), CD spectroscopy, absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, small-angle X-ray scattering and Langmuir film balance measurements.
