Chemical synthesis plays an increasingly significant role in the advancement of life sciences. Our research aims to advance this important paradigm. The main emphasis of our group is involved in a wide variety of research including: Developing new green synthetic asymmetric methods and catalysts. The parallel objective is to bring together green catalysis and engineering of new asymmetric reactions in order to enable the development of an arsenal of new small-molecule agents for pharmaceutical research.
Stereoselective synthesis of new carbon-carbon and carbon-hetero atom bond-forming reactions has always been the cynosure in organic synthesis and especially, organo-catalytic cascade or multi-component reactions has fueled the passion for accelerated and greener processes.
