Training Visits

Duration: 30 days to 180 days (any time of the year).
Activities: During the visits participants will be able to carry out experiments, computations or information search, as well as get trained in the use of certain techniques or softwares, in furtherance of their ongoing research projects. They may also undertake collaborative projects with the faculty members of the School of Chemistry, based on mutual interest. Who may apply? Teachers and research students. They should be at present enrolled as a faculty member or as a Ph.D.student /Post-doctoral fellow in an academic institution (preferably college or university). See the guidelines.
How to apply? Follow the guidelines provided below, starting with directly contacting a faculty member of the school working in a similar area.
Financial support: Travel expenses will be reimbursed as per UGC norms (preserve the original tickets). In addition, a Maintenance allowance of Rs.7000/- per 30 days will be provided.
Accomodation: Accomodation (if required) will be provided in the UGC-NRC Hostel, subject to availability.
