Matteda Priyanka was born in Palivelpula village in Hanamkonda district, Telangana state. In 2019 & 2021, after completion of BSc. & MSc. degree in chemistry from Pingle Govt. Degree college, Hanamkonda and University College for women, Koti, Hyderabad, respectively, she moved to the University of Hyderabad to pursue her doctoral research with Prof. Akhila K. Sahoo at the School of Chemistry.
