Manoj Sethi was born in Balimela village in Malkangiri district, Odisha, a state in southern India. In 2017 & 2019, after completion of BSc. & MSc. degree in chemistry from BCST college, Balimela and Berhampur University, Odisha, respectively, he moved to the University of Hyderabad to pursue his doctoral research with Prof. Akhila K. Sahoo at the School of Chemistry.
