Avijit was born in a small village named Chiranjibpur of East Medinipur district, West Bengal. After completion of BSc (in chemistry honours) from RKMVC Collage and MSc (2020) degree in chemistry from School of Chemistry, University of Hyderabad, respectively, he joined AKS group as a project assistant in January 2021. He worked in the collaborating project with Adama India Private Ltd. and developed various synthetic protocols for spirotetramat derivatives. In March 2022, he joined our group as a junior research fellow and currently working in various regio- and stereoselective difunctionalization and cyclization of (un)symmetrical alkynes.
